Sometimes you’ve already thought about something from every angle…You’ve journaled about it….Talked about it….Analyzed it.
And yet you still feel like you’re circling the same things.
Sometimes what helps isn’t more analysis, t’s a different way of paying attention.
What This Is
This is a free, live online writing circle where we use prompts, imagery, observation, story, and creative reflection as starting points for writing & reflection.
The prompts vary from week to week.
Sometimes we work with images.
Sometimes we write from unusual perspectives.
Sometimes we follow a thread of memory, curiosity, or symbolism.
You don’t need to be a writer.
You don’t need to know what you’re trying to discover.
You don’t even need to have a particular problem you’re trying to solve.
You simply show up, follow the prompt, and see what emerges.
What It’s Like
Folx often find themselves:
- noticing something they hadn’t put into words before
- seeing a familiar situation from a new angle
- making unexpected connections
- discovering ideas, memories, or insights they weren’t actively looking for
- feeling more present, creative, or curious
The goal is to create space for reflection, exploration, and surprise.
Who It’s For
This circle may be a good fit if:
- you enjoy journaling or reflective writing
- you’re curious about creativity and self-discovery
- you tend to overthink and would like a different way into reflection
- you’re interested in story, imagery, symbolism, or personal meaning
- you’d like a regular creative practice
- you’re curious about what emerges when you stop trying to force insight
How It Works
This is a live online group.
I’ll guide the session in real time and provide the structure.
You’ll receive prompts, time to write, and opportunities for optional reflection.
There is never any pressure to share.
Just bring something to write with and a willingness to explore.
Why This Exists
I believe that some things become clearer when we approach them indirectly.
A photograph.
A story.
A symbol.
A memory.
A simple writing invitation.
Sometimes these open doors that direct questions can’t.
This circle is an opportunity to explore those doors together.
Join the Circle
The writing circle is free and open to adults.
Wednesdays, 7PM – 7:45PM Pacific
